We Diagnose Before We Clean Up
A Diagnostic Review is the first step. I dig into your books to identify what’s affecting your financials, trace issues back to their source, and determine what needs attention before any cleanup work begins. You’ll receive a clear Diagnostic Report outlining what we found, why it matters, and what we recommend next.
Payroll or sales tax liabilities don’t match what you expect
Undeposited Funds has a large or old balance
The Balance Sheet has negative or unusual account balances
Duplicate transactions may be overstating income or expenses
Old uncleared transactions are still sitting in the books
Your QuickBooks balance doesn’t match the bank
Loans, credit cards, or owner activity may be recorded incorrectly
Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable balances don’t look right
Reconciliation Review
Reviewing your bank and credit card accounts to identify missing reconciliations, discrepancies, or balances that don’t match.
Balance Sheet Review
Looking for unusual, negative, outdated, or unexplained balances that may be affecting the accuracy of your financials.
A Diagnostic Review is a deep dive into your QuickBooks file. We review the key areas that impact the accuracy of your financials, identify anything that looks off, and give you a clear picture of what needs attention.

No. The Diagnostic Review gives you a clear picture of where your books stand along with our recommendations. From there, you can decide whether you’d like to move forward with cleanup, monthly bookkeeping, both, or neither.
DO I HAVE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE RECOMMENDED WORK?
You’ll receive a detailed report showing what we found, why it matters, and what we recommend addressing. We’ll also include proposals for any recommended cleanup work and ongoing monthly bookkeeping, so you have a clear path forward based on what your books actually need.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE DIAGNOSTIC REVIEW?
Diagnostic Reviews typically range from $300 to $600, depending on the size and complexity of your QuickBooks file. If you move forward with cleanup work, the full cost of your Diagnostic Review is applied toward your cleanup project.
